Why should my tile and grout floor be sealed?
Protection. A sealer prevents dirt and spills from penetrating the surface of the floor. It creates a seal that repels water-based and oil-based liquids, food and beverage stains and other impurities.
How will a sealer protect my floor?
Natural stone, ceramic tile, and grout absorb the sealer. With this, there aren't any cavities for dirt and grime to reside. Any soil remaining on the surface can be easily wiped away.
How is sealer applied?
Trained professionals will use state-of-the-art technology to clean the floor, neutralize and dry the surfaces. A sealer is applies and soaked into the floor for 5 to 10 minutes.
How long does it take for grout to dry?
in 10 to 12 minutes, you can walk on the tile or stone. However, it is best to keep it dry for 48 hours, which is when it will have dried completely.
Does a sealer change the appearance of a tile or grout floor?
No. Our sealers will not change original color, texture, or appearance of the surface.
Will the old and new grout colors match?
Yes. We take the time to ensure that new grout color and the existing grout color match. You won't be able to tell the difference once we are finished.
How often do you have to clean the grout once it is restored?
Ideally, you should clean your floor once a week with a pH-neutral or soapless cleaner. Make sure you change the mop water when it looks dirty. Use a towel or terry cloth to dry the grout.
Will I need to professionally clean and seal my floor again?
Yes, depending on how often spills or other factors infiltrate the tiles. We provide periodic maintenance, cleaning and re-sealing to keep your floors in tip-top condition. No floor is maintenance free, but our sealers are an effective, cost-efficient way to uphold the look of your tiles.
